Permanent Resident Borrowers:
Any resident or property owner in Lemhi county is entitled to a free borrower’s card. Residency is defined as residing within the county for 30 days. The following can be used as proof of residency:
* Idaho driver’s license issued in Lemhi County with current address
* Lemhi county tax statement
* One month rent receipt in registrar’s current name and address
Temporary/Non-Resident Borrowers:
For persons visiting in the county, working at seasonal employnent, or lacking proof of permanent residency, a $30.00 annual charge will be assessed for borrowing privileges. This is comparable to the .32 levy rate assessed each household in Lemhi county for library services.
Juveniles:
Cards must be filled out and signed by a parent or guardian and also young patron. When the patron signs they promise to take good care of the books they use in the library and at home and that they will obey all rules of the library. If books are lost or damaged, the patron may be required to pay for the books so that the library can replace them.
